About

I build the software that removes a recurring cost: apps, AI features and integrations between the tools a business already uses. One person covers scoping, design, build, cloud, CI/CD and launch, and explains it in plain English. I sold for a living before I coded for one, so I start from the problem, not the tech.

Most recently Senior Software Engineer at Fliteboard (2025 to 2026). Before that, eight years freelance for healthcare and fintech clients: a family care platform, IoT device apps and CRM integrations.

Problems I solve

  • “We need an app.” One Flutter codebase for iOS, Android, web and desktop. Prototype to App Store and Google Play release, or an installable PWA with no store at all.
  • “Can AI do this for us?” AI agents, chatbots and LLM features on Claude, OpenAI and Gemini. MCP servers so staff can run the business from Claude or ChatGPT.
  • “We type the same thing into three systems.” Integrations and automation: CRMs, Stripe, email, OAuth logins, internal tools. Entered once, right everywhere.
  • “It needs a proper backend.” REST and GraphQL APIs, serverless (Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Lambda), PostgreSQL, Firebase, Terraform, CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
  • “Our last developer left.” I pick up an existing codebase, fix what is broken, document it and ship the next feature.

Own product, designed and built solo, launching now

  • Shared organiser for couples and families. Realtime: a tick on one phone shows on every other within about two seconds.
  • Installs from a QR code, no app store. Offline-first PWA: cached reads, queued writes, sync on reconnect.
  • Streaks, trophies, group chat, routines, AI-generated plans in beta. Flutter, cloud API, Firebase auth, MCP server.

  • Desktop PostgreSQL viewer and editor with a built-in AI assistant: describe what you want in plain English, get a ready-to-run SQL query.
